Online Shopping: International local Contra?
Ok, here's the situation. Suppose you want to buy ski boots, for example. Write "Ski boots" on Yahoo home page (. Com,. Co.uk, etc). A number of results emerge. Most are in their country of origin but two are overseas. What are the international companies have to do to make them stand out and make you want to buy from them?
Cheaper prices. Cheap shipping, since international shipping is generally expensive. That is all that usually are less when overseas orders. I can compare Item total price, plus shipping, with several web page and decide on the best deal. Sometimes I pay a little more if the issue is sending a known company (Amazon) that if it comes from some guy somewhere (eBay).
