Do Olympic Athletes (specifically Snowboarders) choose their own music?
During the female snowboarding thing, they were playing music. It was barely audible, but the first two songs were some of my favorites, and I wondered if the athletes chose them or if the olympic guys just picked stuff.
This is during the Half Pipe, by the way.
Any music you picked up on your TV was piped in by the network or picked up from the venue itself. Many half-pipe competitors listen to their own mp3 players during their run and thus couldn’t care less what other music is playing to the crowd at large.
Figure skaters, on the other hand, choose their own music to perform to.
