Why people think Burton is so good?
I've been reading and responding to a lot of answers about snowboarding, and I consider myself very competent but one thing I do not understand is why so many people think Burton is exceptionally better than other brands of snowboarding. People must realize that Burton is not always the best, and in many cases are not, but you can always count on their products are too expensive for this receiver. Please tell me how some of you the wrong idea, because really makes you look like an idiot for those of us who actually know something about snowboarding.
Burton is a good product, but I think it is more advertising and product hype that makes people think are the best. There are other brands that are as good or better, have more technology in their products, and more people travel on them, but they do not "name" as Burton does. I would buy one just for the owner bolt pattern that uses only 3 screws to maintain their links instead of 4 screws. So those of us who can buy a better board for less money and not know that buying into the hype – What's wrong with that?
