One cannot be an expert on every location and to be honest, I've passed through many times but never skied or visited Sapphire Valley Resort so here you will not get the benefit or determent from any of my personal recommendations. I will say that the drive from Franklin to Highlands, Cashiers and Brevard is a beautiful trip and the waterfalls are spectacular in any season.
