where is a good place for snowboarding and camping, not far from New York in November?
I am planning a trip in November 2010 for 1 week. I'm going to visit family on Long Island, but we want to launch a camping and snowboarding. in search of the unit about 2 hours from New York, a place that has camping and snowboarding, canoeing would be, if not too cold. place should not be in New York, but since this is not too far. I think Catskills but can not find information there. Nor do you want to spend much $ $ as I have by far the cheapest way possible. I am looking for a town, city, town, or state park. Hunter Mountain is in the Catskills. Then, Pepito not peak in the Berkshires. If you go a couple of extra hours, then you have all the Adirondacks to choose. Sugarbush, Stowe, Killington, Grove, Mountain West, Royal (mountain very small but very steep), Whiteface, Gore Mountain are all the mountains of New York / New England region. I'm sure there's more.
