goggles snowboarding
What type of lens do I need for snowboarding goggles?
I already have polarised sunglasses which I’m hoping I will be able to wear most of the time, but for days when I need to wear goggles, I’m not sure what type of lens is best? I seen a few different types such as polirised, Iridium or persimmon?
If I’m going to spend all that money, I want to make sure I’m going to get the best tool for the job!!

All polarized have polarized film that cuts glare by filtering diffused light.
Grey polarized- reduces glare and does not distort colored light. Best used in bright sun conditions.
Brown Polarized- Brown tint filters blue light for increased contrast. Can be used in bright sun to cloudy conditions.
light brown polarized- light brown tint filters soft blue light for increased contrast. Best used in partly cloudy conditions.
Bronze- bronze tint enhances shadow contrast. Can be used in bright sun to cloudy conditions.
Rose- Rose tint filters blue light for increased contrast. Best used in flat light conditions. (cloudy/snow)
Smoke- smoke tint transmits all colored light easily. Can be used in partly cloudy to snowing conditions.
Orange- orange tint enhances contrast and depth percerption. Can be used in partly cloudy to snowing conditions.
Blue- Blue light filters white light for increased contrast. Best used in flat conditions(cloudy/snowy)
Yellow- yellow tint filters blue light for increased contrast. Best used in flat, light snowing conditions.
Clear- clear lens does not filter any light. Exclusively used in night conditions.
just read this entire thing out of the instructions from my electric brand snowboard goggles, but I would imagine these rules would apply for any snowboard goggles.
