Can I snowboard in these places in october?
So I will be taking a road trip the 2nd week of October. Going from Denver to Mount Rushmoor, Devils Tower, Yellowstone (old Faithful), Salt Lake city, and Aspen on our way back to Denver. I’m from the south so i have no idea if it snows near these places that time of year. I really want to try snowboarding if possible. Will any of these places or surrounding areas have snow? What place is my best bet? Also and must see spots along the way in or on the way to these places that I must stop and see? Thanks for the help.
its all weather dependent, but that is still to early in the season. Last year most places started making snow at the end of October, at the earliest.
Play it safe, take your clothes but not your board on vaca. If its open, rent a board and boots for the day. If not, you won’t have taken up too much space in the car.
