cheap deals snowboarding
I’m a beginning snowboarder & looking for a board. Freestyle and around 149cm? What brand is good yet cheap?

Okay, so I’m new at snowboarding, but I really like it. I was riding a 5150 board up at Sunrise in Arizona and I believe it was around 148-152 cm and had strap-in bindings. What kind of board should I get? Something that’s good but I can find a good deal on it. I found a Kemper but I heard those aren’t great, so I skipped it. I’m looking at Lamar, 5150, Morrow, K2 and a few others.

Can you guys help with confirming a board length(I’m 5’8 and 120lbs) and a few good and inexpensive brands that I could look for? I’d moreso be doing freeride, not terrain, but an all-around board would be great because I might do terrain later on…

I greatly appreciate it! :)

Well are you looking for a cheap board or do you want quality? Right now you could probably find a quality board on sale for a pretty good price. If you’re looking for quality then don’t even bother looking at Lamar,Morrow or 5150. They’re low quality junkers that will only hold you back if you ride a lot.

Some all around rides I would suggest for you

Burton Feather
K2 Luna
Neversummer Lotus or Infinity-R
GNU B-street

As for the size for your stats and for an all-mountain ride I would look around 148-152
