batteries snowmobile

How can I get more than a year on the battery on my snowmobile?
I bought a new battery last year, as always, and every year I buy a new one. Why is that? It will have a much less burden, not even having one. I put the charger on it and the needle did not move.
Because I bet you let it sit all summer without having to use or load, right? Lead batteries must be regularly loading and unloading for maintain their working capacity. If you go two or three months, leaving only a battery to sit, is done for. After purchasing your new this year, and when the season ends, this is what to do: every two weeks (at least), run the snowmobile and running for a while. Then put the battery charger automatically issues – if you is one that has a maintenance mode, best thing you can leave any time and keep the battery charger for you. If you do this, the battery will be ready for next winter, and the duration of at least 4-5 years, probably more.
